LEAVING FOR ARIZONA is made up of three overweight guys and a gay girl. They strive to always take the music seriously, but never take themselves too seriously.
The band has spent the last several years carving out a small, loyal group of fans. LFA is proud to be a part of the local North Carolina music scene that's found its footing, post-Covid.
2025 was a big year for the band - releasing two EPs with SpiceHouse, "Sad, but Functional" and "PB Special".
The group also hopped in the "LFA van" and embarked on their longest tour in September, playing shows in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ohio, and Maryland!

"The band at the top of my mind right now is LEAVING FOR ARIZONA. If you look up any of their content, it will have you on the floor because they’re just goofy and that’s like their ethos. But the lyrics are also really genuine and relatable. Very much the sad boy music vibe, but they have their own twist on it."
- Anunt Singh

Since 2023, LEAVING FOR ARIZONA has proudly represented Reverend Guitars. They're a company that has invested so much time and energy into small, DIY musicians. It's rare to hear a current emo record that doesn't involve a Reverend guitar or bass.
